Africa I was built by the renowned Italian shipyard Benetti in 2010 and is fresh from a 2019 interior refit, making her a particularly attractive charter option. Africa I is at the top of her game and has proved to be an extremely popular motor yacht, particularly with celebrities.

This motor yacht is great for families, as her accommodation allows for up to 12 guests and includes double and twin cabin configuration – two of each are on the lower deck. The twin cabins are ideal for children to enjoy their own space, whilst parents can delight in the master suite on the main deck or VIP suite on the upper deck.

The ambience and style of Africa I is bright and upbeat, making her well suited to charter groups of family and friends with mixed ages. The 2018/2019 upgrade added a new audiovisual entertainment system and has left Africa I’s furnishings in sparkling condition. On an entertainment theme, Africa I boasts a huge cinema screen and a bar in the upper lounge, making this a favourite spot to retreat to.

When it comes to dining, Africa I has three main areas where guests can enjoy the hospitality of the highly experienced crew. There is an interior formal dining table, an al fresco dining table on the aft deck, and another dining area on the upper deck for more casual meals.

Africa I’s exterior deck spaces are spacious and versatile. Her standout feature is the sun deck, which boasts a Jacuzzi, sun loungers and a well-equipped gym. The 2019 refit also bolstered her already large range of water sports equipment, and the yacht is an approved RYA water sports centre, allowing guests to try new equipment or perfect their skills in total safety.

Africa I now has an 11m chase tender, SeaBobs, WaveRunners, water skis, stand-up paddleboards and an electric jet board at her guests disposal, not forgetting the popular towables and giant inflatable slide.

The crew includes qualified scuba divers and there are three sets of equipment onboard.
